All our rope products are made here by Virginia to Ian's design. Our rope is supplied by Tuff Tack. This is a double braid polyester rope ( like yachting rope) - but it is  designed to withstand life on the land without pilling or going hard. Leather poppers and slobber straps come from out local saddler DVL Saddlery.

Our halters are either 6.35mm stiff rope in 2 or 4 knots  or 8 mm  2 knot soft rope halters

All our leads are eye spliced and the throat is stitched. The tail is weighted as it is back spliced and finished with a leather popper. This gives a good feel to the end of the lead.

Ian recommends at least a 14 mm rope for lead ropes and he prefers 16mm as it has a good weight and feel gives you something to grip. Ian likes a 8 ft lead for leading and tying up , and a 16 foot lead for lunging.
